Dear Hello,
In the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, Goldenwood birthed the DreamForum—a sacred space for listening, sharing, and holding onto the fragile light of hope amidst profound uncertainty. Rooted in a time of rupture, the DreamForum helped surface not only individual dreams, but also a deeper desire: to move from imagination into shared discernment and communal hope.
Today, we’re planting that seed in new soil.
We’re excited to announce that the DreamForum is becoming the GreenHouse.
This shift is not a departure but a broadening. The core practices remain: slowing rhythms, spiritual listening, and communal discernment. But the invitation expands: from the urgent dreams of a disrupted world to the quiet cultivation of tomorrow’s hope-giving possibilities.
And the new name reflects the organic maturity of the DreamForum.
While born out of crisis, it has grown into something more resilient, spacious, and invitational. The GreenHouse offers a response to our contemporary work landscape, where the majority of workers find themselves disengaged from their daily labor—and where side-hustles and nascent dreams have become a quiet cry for meaningful work. It provides the time and contemplative space to discern these stirrings, to cultivate what God might be planting, and to develop this "side work" into something life-giving.
We believe this intentional "decelerator" will continue creating the kind of spiritual ecosystem our world desperately needs, where hope is cultivated, imagination is formed by the Spirit, and work becomes an expression of love for God and neighbor. And we're grateful for the ongoing and generative partnership of the Two Tunics Legacy Fund into this next chapter!
I'd love for you to consider if this is a season in which God might be inviting you to cultivate the seed of an idea He is planting in your spirit. You'll find further details below and can explore more here. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions you might have. We'd love to hear from you!
With gratitude and deep hope,
David Kim, Goldenwood Co-Founder and CEO
